The only son of famed paperweight maker Charles Kaziun Jr., Charles III was born in 1963. From 1975 till Kaziun's death in 1992, Charles occasionally helped his father in the studio. During this time they collaborated on a snake paperweight. Starting in 1992 Charles made some small lampwork flower weights which he sold to collectors. These simple weights were quite well made. His weights are signed with a silver foil K, sometimes set against a black cane.
