Six rarely seen red currant berries ripen at the end of thin yellow stems, hanging below a short golden branch that is ornamented by contrasting green serrated leaves, inside a large clear gather of glass. Clear ground. Aside from Pantin, “Saint Louis was the only other maker to portray this fruit” —The Dictionary of Glass Paperweights. Pontil scar. Diameter 3 1/16”.
